New toy

The Doc of rock came over and he brought a strange new thing with him and I don't mean free basing. He had let us use his shopping bike but after I set up the spider bike we haven't needed it so he took it back and promised something interesting. Interesting indeed. Who has that many parts in their house that they can just set this shit up when they have time. I rode it a bit and he tried to teach me how to brake using the vans to tire method but I just ended up needing shoe goo. I guess it would be more better if we filmed riding it instead of just taking pictures inside but who could really be bothered.

rainy day ballet

Thanks to Mr. Soma I don't have to worry about the replacing rear rubber every two weeks. I guess not being able to do skids helps but I can still imagine I ride like those MASH guys. Gunning through the streets, down the hills and into the valley ( haven't been there in a long time) doing quick start/stop skids. I have set up the brake but out of respect to pulvenheimer's front rim I haven't used it. I prefer the harsh back pedaling technique and quick hop out of the seat everytime danger grins upon me. The way I fgure it, the lurker has been riding for 8 brakeless years and he's alright, physically at least. I am digressing as the point of this post was supposed to be bitching about the rain. Not that I don't like spending quality time with the family BUT it's Friday. Friday means night riding with the lurker and this is the 3rd week in a row we have had to postpone. Sure, we could just go tomorrow night or another night of the week so we are being sort of retarded, in the "we can do anything" sense. I was bummed so I went around to different hipster sites and peeped their vids that all looked alike. I thought I should do something as well so I set up the tripod, tip to ed out da house and began to ride. Setting the timer and dashing off giggling like a Chinaman who's just arrived in Pearson Intl. on their 3rd cousins pasport I started to film. Voila.

OGP - Summer projects

Found these dusty, rusty bikes in Tap's basement, stripped the cheap components and warped, rusted wheels off of 'em, and this is what I'm left with.....beautiful April evening (21 degrees), hotdogs on the bbq, frosties in the fridge, Jays game on the radio, and a few intriguing frames to build up......emerald green Motobecane and the mysterious sea-blue "Majestic" - both made in France and the Majestic with some gorgeous Nervex lugs. What to do.....

KUWAHARA: the return!

This post is like talking about how big your friend's dick is or how many chicks he's run through the brambles but it has to be done. The best part is I bet I can bully him into putting a milk crate basket on that and then drop the seed (negro terminology for child *see neglected) in there for a ride like the alien. We can even toss a red hoody on the good doctor for shits and gigs. The movie JUMPER makes you want to jump off of a building into a pro life rally while shaking a hot dog at Allah. i have no idea why I just wrote that but I am sleep deprived and had a lot of fun riding that bike tonight and then the kid woke to a share an euphoric moment with the father. Then he turned to the tits and I was off for a beer.

WOW!!

I thought she was building a bike from scrap or at least planning on cutting someone's apart when the questions came via text message. Then there was the ones about other people's bikes and dimensions. Who new she was carving blocks to make prints before giving us a sample? I thought it was so rad when I saw it and was stoked that I had something my narcisistic self could screen a tshirt from and talk the fack out of. BLAH BLAH BLAH my bike BLAH BLAH before the brake..... Ahh I wish I had something to post about my creativuty but that's being selfish right dere!! Up in steer! Heading for another beer.

Giddyup!

This was a phot I shot a while ago and just recently had the time to sit down and scan. It's not that I am really busy but I needed Eric to come over and set up the scanner that windows vista said we didn't have. I had downloaded the driver to the desktop but the wife and I had a heck of a time trying to get the PC to recognize it. It took us an hour before we were too frustrated and declared it a waste of time. Then Eric comes over and has it set up in 10 minutes. There is a benefit to have a master's degree in electric engineering. Then he had to go because he had a fight in two days and needed to rest. The fight was super good and Eric caned the other guy, who wasn't a pussy either. His opponent was previously a pro boxer with ten fights out of which he won eight (5 KO's!). That kid was heavy handed! Everytime he tried to come come in with kicks and punches Eric would grab him by the head and knee him in the face. I'm glad he wasn't hurt because we need him to hook up the stereo to our itunes.

Anyhoo, back to the photo. We had planned to meet up with an other guy and get picture of skid or something but when the guy didn't show we got bored and shot this. I like the way the wheels look and that the exposure was about 30 seconds because it was facking dark. He dosen't even ride that bike anymore or not since he set up the Stratus at least. I want to set up those wheels and try deep V's but they would make my orange look like some sort of queer candy cane.
