"you can't get there from here......."

I should have called this post FUCK google maps or somethign along those lines but,it's been faced, I am not clever. I was trying to find a route I could take to work and every option was for public transit or cars. Now before you go and start wondering "dude, a bike route and car route are the same....did you eat retard pills?" The route the all mighty google picked out was a toll highway that you can't cycle on. So I just sucked it up and BOO YAH made it to work in an hour and ten. The same amount of time it takes to get there by train. I was so happy to be back among the land of the living and out of the train purgatory that only has you constantly wondering how far home you would be if you had ridden your bike. I used to ride but I saw it as more of a point A to B kind of event. Last night I had to give it up to this city and just tell myself I was going to get lost on the way home. After doing that I was stoked to be out riding and I ended up findig the exact route home that I wanted. Door to door took an hour going home. I gigure yesterday was about a 60km day but I could be wrong. All I know is that I feel a fuck of a lot better than if I had taken the train.
