it's a sad day for me, even though i never knew the man personally. he did so much for me and others in the way of bicycle knowledge and all-around humour. he eventually succumbed after fighting a long and brave battle with multiple sclerosis. for more info on (and from) sheldon, start here: http://www.sheldonbrown.com/ he's off riding the big bike in the sky, and he will truly be missed. think of him the next time you're on the bike. thank you sheldon, and have a great ride.

I am thinking of printing out everything on his website, at work of course, in the hopes of making the greatest bike manual ever. If it works I can always keep Sheldon around.
