super sick find
found while biking around to garage sales this morning, in someone's trash pile at the side of the road. forget those other cheap french frames, THIS is the find of the year, and is my new summer project. after deliberating long and hard, i think i'm going to sand it down and paint it. i LOVE the decals and the colour, and i'm going to try to save them, but there's just too much surface rust to leave it as is. the whole thing is covered in the grossest, thickest grease and grime as well, so it's gonna be a big cleanup job. here are the photos i just took after stripping it down. i can't even describe how excited i am. complete shimano 600 grouppo, modolo handlebars, columbus tubing, benotto frame:

Fuck, that is a super sick findula. I have no idea if that frame is good or not but a frame is a frame and that is sick. Gee, you're gonna be the new UDL with all those bikes laying around. Your other bike is awesome. I am searching for fenders (on "forgotten" bikes) because the rainy season is a bitch here.
i regretfully had to lose two rusty old frames i had on the balcony last night, otherwise byn said she was leaving me. she said i had to do something about the "graveyard" on the balcony....
